Patient Resources

Choosing a new dental office comes with plenty of questions. What should you bring to your first visit? How do payments work? Can you spread the cost of treatment over time? Having clear answers before you walk in can make the whole process feel easier, and it lets you focus on your health and on the dental services you came for.

Rockingham ProDental is honored every time someone chooses our team to help restore the function and appearance of their smile. As you read, feel free to write down any questions you have, then reach out to our team. If you would like to meet with Dr. Brent Rigby to talk through your needs, we can find a convenient time for a consultation.

Your First Appointment

Your first visit is a one-on-one consultation where we learn about you, your dental background, and your goals. The more we know up front, the more accurate and efficient your care can be. During this visit, Dr. Rigby will take time to listen, answer your questions, and explain your options in plain language so you leave with a clear picture of what comes next. If you have X-rays taken within the last year, bring them with you or ask your previous dental office to forward them to ours.

Please also bring your completed new patient forms, along with a list of any medications you take and any questions you have for our team. If you cannot fill them out at home, arrive ten to fifteen minutes early so you can complete them in our office. If you are a dental professional referring a patient to Dr. Rigby, our referral form makes it simple to share the details we need.

Acceptable Payment Methods

We want paying for care to be as simple as possible. We work with insurance to help make care more accessible. As a fee-for-service practice, we file your paperwork as a courtesy so you can pursue any reimbursement your plan allows, and we are happy to provide any documents your insurance company needs. Our payment methods include:

  • Cash payments are welcome, and a cash discount may apply
  • Debit and Credit cards are accepted for visits and treatment
  • Dental Membership Plan options help patients without insurance save
  • CareCredit payment plans divide your treatment into monthly payments

If you have questions about which option fits your situation, our front office can walk you through each one before you commit to treatment, so nothing about the cost comes as a surprise.

Flexible Financing

Cost is one of the most common reasons people put off dental care, and we want to talk about it openly. Waiting can turn a small problem into a bigger, more expensive one, so we would rather help you find a plan early.

Think of it like any other large purchase: spreading the cost over several months is often easier than paying all at once. Dividing the cost of care into monthly payments often makes it easier to move forward with the treatment you need. We accept CareCredit payment plans and offer in-house payment plans, and our in-house membership plan helps make routine care more manageable for patients without insurance. Whether you are planning an exam and cleaning, dental implants, dentures, or full-mouth restorations, our team can help you find a payment approach that fits your budget. We would rather talk through your options early than have cost keep you from the care you need.
